Sorry by reading your comparison I didn't quite catch your point of your thoughts.
Look,i think most of the audience, no matter Chinese or American have something in common that is to watch a movie in the hope of having fun. Apparently you have pulled this up to something with regard to the ideology.
Giving the lower score doesn't mean Chinese people are at lower grade and on the contrary by looking down others doesn't make you even better than anyone else.
